Earl Fredrick Doolittle, age 63 of Stanton, passed away on Tuesday June 8, 2021, at home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. He was born February 13, 1958, in Greenville, the son of George Emory and Joanne Marian (Sowles) Doolittle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife (Tina Marie Hyde-Doolittle). He married Kimberly Jo (Grubb) Doolittle on December 25, 2016, in Six Lakes.
Earl was a 1976 graduate of Greenville High School and worked as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the Eagles, and a former member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, softball, bowling, bonfires and hanging out with family and friends. Earl also loved his time at the cabin in Lake City.
Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Jo Doolittle; four brothers Roy Doolittle of Greenville, George & Penny Doolittle of Lake City, Larry Doolittle of Greenville, and Robin Doolittle of Greenville, and sisters-in-law Dawn and Erica Avery of Greenville; two sons, Travis & Morgan Doolittle of
Greenville, and Joshua Doolittle & Jessica Heddleston of Bremen, GA; three stepchildren, Gregory & Cheyenne Jeffery of McBride, Katlyn Jeffery & Daniel Thornton of Kent City, and Cheyanne & Darian Burgess of Hudsonville; his Father and Mother-in- law, Melvin & Janet Grubb of Six Lakes; fifteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as his loyal companion Miley.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 3pm at 10155 W. Sidney Road, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, the family is humbly requesting donations covering the funeral expenses. Donations can be made to Kimberly Doolittle via Cash App ($Inmemoryofearl) or in person at the memorial gathering.
