Earl Doolittle

Earl J. DooLittle, age 85, of Carson City, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing MI. The son of Charles & Leah (Baker) DooLittle he was born on January 21, 1929 in Crystal. On June 29, 1949, in Edmore, he married Elizabeth Jane Flaugher and together they raised six children and enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Earl was a veteran of the Michigan National Guard and retired from the General Motors Oldsmobile plant in Lansing, where he was a proud member of United Auto Workers Local No. 652. He enjoyed being with family and friends, and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Jerry Todd DooLittle. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth DooLittle of Carson City, MI; their five children, Linda Ebright of Lansing, Ken DooLittle of Lansing, James & Julie DooLittle of Carson City, Robin & Tom Wagner of Winter Haven, Florida, Dan & Tina DooLittle of Mason; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
