Douglas Adrian Pierce, 51, of Three Rivers, died peacefully in his sleep, April 28, 2018 after a year long battle with cancer. Doug was born May 8, 1966 to Dale and Lucy Pierce. He was a graduate of Three Rivers High School and served in the United States Navy. On August 23, 2002, Doug married Ann Singler. He enjoyed books, sci fi movies, woodworking and yard work. Doug is survived by his wife, Ann Pierce of Marcellus; children, Douglas Pierce of Three Rivers, Shaun Pierce of Illinois, and Amy Wortham of Tennessee. Also surviving are stepchildren, George Singler, Andrew & Autumn Zimmerman of Marcellus, Tiffany Watson, Melanie Loree, Tara Hammond and Phillip Hammond, all of Three Rivers. Doug has four surviving siblings: Carrie Miller of Ohio, Sherry & David Tucker of Three Rivers, Warren Pierce of Three Rivers, and Alice and Raymond Rigdon of Paris, IL. He has several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many cousins, who will all miss him. Doug had a big heart and would offer a helping hand to anyone who needed one, friend or foe. A memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post 413, 59990 S Main St, Three Rivers, 49093.
