Douglas Devoogd

DEVOOGD, DOUGLAS PAUL Douglas Paul DeVoogd born December 20, 1962 passed away peacefully on September 10, 2013 at Faith Hospice Trillium Woods with family at his side. He loved gardening, nature and working on his moped and cars for family and friends. He helped with decks, yard work, pools, you name it. He loved going to the casino, and boy was he lucky, even a couple of jackpots, name in lights the whole enchilada. He was preceded in death by his dad David Lee DeVoogd and sister Jody Marie Corner. Doug is survived by his son Robert; Mother Valerie; brothers Scott (Dottie), Gary (Eva), Daniel (Linda).; sisters, Sue, Valerie Jo (Jerry) Latimer and Sheryl (Don); several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed and loved by many. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be scattered at his favorite spot. A memorial is being held at Pinery Parks Community Room, 2300 Newstead Ave. S.W. Wyoming, MI 49509 on Saturday, September 21st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
