Dorothy Matilda Wiggins, age 98, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at her home under the loving care of her daughters, Jan & Loretta, and Corewell Health Hospice. 

The daughter of Raymond & Ada (Carpenter) Beebe, she was born on April 1, 1928 in Marion, Michigan and retired from the former Electrolux Home Products.

Dorothy enjoyed attending music jamborees and feeding and watching the birds… especially cardinals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Douglas James Wiggins; her longtime companion and partner, Frank Young; five children, Douglas Wiggins, Jr., Karen Light, Roger D. Wiggins, Rose Marie Wiggins, and Shirley Ann Townsend; a sister, Mildred Mitchell; and six brothers, Elmer Beebe, Bill Beebe, Ed Beebe, Ben Beebe, Frank Beebe, and Doug Beebe.

Surviving are her children, Jan Hodge, Loretta & Donald Forist, Dwight “Ike” Wiggins, Richard & Donna Wiggins; and Lonny & Robin Wiggins; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026 on at Christiansen’s Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will take place privately at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.

Contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be directed to the donor’s favorite children’s hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
