Dorothy F. Holland

Dorothy F. Holland, age 98, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Tuesday evening, June 2, 2026 at her home at Green Acres of Greenville. The daughter of Guy Leo & Edna Pearl (Devault) Hubbard, she was born on June 22, 1927 in Trufant, Michigan.

Dorothy retired from the former Electrolux Home Products, and enjoyed growing flowers (especially roses), ball room dancing and square dancing. She was a member of a square dance group.  She was a beautiful seamstress, spending many hours making dance costumes for the step granddaughters with the help of her step daughter. Dorothy also made wedding cakes, cross stitched beautiful pictures, and redecorated her homes.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Frederick A. Paepke, William Hauser, and Arthur “Art” Holland, Jr. and six siblings, Leo Hubbard, May Robinson, Leonard Hubbard, Donald Hubbard, Larry Hubbard, and Douran Hubbard.

Surviving are her two sons, Frederick G. & Joyce Paepke of Bryan, Ohio, and Albert A. Paepke of Coral and two step-sons, James & Kim Holland of Gowen, and Michael Holland of Sand Lake; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

As Dorothy wished, a private committal was held on Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2026 at Coral Cemetery. A celebration of Dorothy’s life is being planned and will be announced later.
