Dorothy Dow

Mrs. Dorothy Dow, age 77, of Greenville, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 14, 2007 at Spectrum Health United Memorial-United Campus, Greenville. The daughter of Ledo & Grace (Bliss) Ostrander, she was born on June 11, 1929 in Lakeview. On March 5, 1953, in Grand Rapids, she married Delbert Richard Dow. A devoted wife and mother, she also enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery work. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Delbert R. Dow Sr. on Oct. 16, 1994. Surviving are two sons, Delbert Dow Jr., and Robert Dow; a grandson, Charles Dow; two sisters, Betty Lathrup and Charlotte Rarick, all of Greenville; three brothers, James & Joanne Ostrander of Sidney, Richard & Sherry Ostrander of Greenville, and Roger & Sandy Ostrander of Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews.
