Dorothy Beardslee

Mrs. Dorothy Margaret Beardslee, age 88, of Greenville, passed away late Monday evening, April 17, 2006 at Metron of Greenville. The daughter of Floyd & Carrie (Larsen) Sutton, she was born on July 31, 1917 in Leslie. On Feb. 3, 1940, she married Wayne Beardslee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; an infant sister, Grace; her father, Floyd Sutton; her mother and special dad, Carrie & Paul Kilburn; a granddaughter; and three infant great grandsons. Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Kristy Beardslee of Clio, Gary & Ann Beardslee of Neshkoro, Wisconsin, Gale & Ginny Beardslee of Carson City, Larry & Patty Beardslee of Neshkoro, Wisconsin, and George & Karen Beardslee of Lakeview; two daughters, Diane & E.J. Highsmith of Rocky Point, North Carolina, and Janet & Roger Williams of Sumner; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two half-brothers; and five half-sisters. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Courtland Township Cemetery near Rockford.
