Mrs. Donna Mae Lincoln, age 60, of Greenville, passed away Monday evening, Dec. 29, 2008 at home under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice.
The daughter of Viggo & Erna (Jensen) Olsen, she was born on Dec. 21, 1948 in Greenville and was a 1967 graduate of Greenville High School.
She married Randy Lincoln on May 5, 1984 and for many years Donna worked at Spring Grove Variety Store in downtown Greenville. She attended Shiloh Community Church and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family especially her travels with her daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary Wilson. Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Randy Lincoln of Greenville; three daughters, Lori Cook and Steve Haynes of Greenville, Kimberly & Troy Salinas of Cedar Springs, and Carrie Lincoln of Greenville and her friend Kevin Barker of Belding; three grandchildren, Christa Cook of Greenville, and Sydney and Tyler Salinas of Cedar Springs; a step-son, Jesse Lincoln of Gowen; a sister,JoAnn Orr of Greenville; two brothers, Norman Olsen of Greenville, and James & Patricia Olsen of Port St. Lucie, Florida; parents-in-law, Robert & Virginia Lincoln of Greenville, three brothers-in-law, Francis Wilson of Sheridan and his friend, Donna Green of Greenville; Phillip & Debbie Lincoln of Gowen, and Curt & Mary Lincoln of Mattawan; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church. Burial will follow at Clear Lake Cemetery.
Honoring Donnas wishes, there will be no visitation, however a luncheon will be held at Shiloh Community Church following the cemetery ceremony. Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider the needs of the family. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home.
