Donna Beck

Donna Betty Beck, age 70, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, April 17, 2013, at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids. The daughter of Ernest Clarence & Minnie Elizabeth Mary (Walters) Strouse, she was born on July 31, 1942 in Carrington, North Dakota. On Halloween, Oct. 31, 1969, in Ionia, she married Edwin Charles Beck and together they enjoyed 38 years of marriage. Donna retired from the former Electrolux Home Products after 37 years of service, attended Shiloh Community Church, and enjoyed shopping and attending gospel music jamborees. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Donald Sonny Strause; a sister, Melisse Anderson; a daughter, Ginger Sue Poisal; a son, Terry Lee Poisal; and her husband, Edwin Beck on April 10, 2007. Surviving are her fiance, Gary Evans of Gowen; her children, Lynn Walker of Greenville, Karen & Ryan Bannen of Belding, Kathy & Chris Christensen of Gowen, Cheryl & Charles Korson of Greenville; her step-children, Scott & Nancy Beck of Bailey, Klint & Amy Beck of Cedar Springs, and Rhonda & Barry Sellers of Remus; her grandchildren, Amanda Ripley, Kit & Brittany Dennis, Aleigha & Khris Rossman, Justin Dennis, Rebecca & Josh Bruursema, Matthew Bannen, Ben Christensen, Bryce Christensen, Taylor Beck, John Korson, Adam Korson, Trent Beck, Kara Beck, Alicia Beck, Brandon Beck, Derrick Sellers, and Darren Sellers; twelve great-grandchildren; Braeden Dobson, Cassidy Ripley, Conner Ripley, Corey Morsony, Kyle Dennis, Lucas Dennis, Jaeden Lombardi, Logan Rossman, Iylah Rossman, Gage Dennis, Hannah Bruursema, and Morgan Bruursema; her siblings, Lyle & Jan Strouse of Gowen, DeWaine & June Strouse of Lowell, DeLaine & Frank Lowry of Greenville, and Gary Strouse of Belding; and many nieces and nephews.
