Donna Adams

Donna Lynn (Rockwell) Adams, age 76, of Cedar Springs, passed away early Saturday morning, July 22, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. The daughter of Frank Mumby & Juanita Belle (Hicks) Rockwell, she was born on May 10, 1947 in Grand Rapids. Donna was a 1965 graduate of Rogers High School in Wyoming, Michigan and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. On June 28, 1990, in Paw Paw, Michigan, she married Ernest Leroy Adams and together they enjoyed 33 years of marriage. Donna's goal in life, as she often stated, was to see all of her family come to salvation by the sacrifice of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her love for Christ and her family was well known by all, as was her kindness, generosity and compassion. She will long be remembered by her family for her biscuits and gravy, as well as her knack for finding a great bargain at Meijer, Goodwill, other thrift stores, and yardsales. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Patricia (Robert) Noteboom. Surviving are her husband, Ernest L. Adams, of Cedar Springs; her brother, Craig (Marge) Rockwell, of Jenison; a brother-in-law, Robert Noteboom, of Grandville; her children, Lisa (Donald) Knapp, of Cedar Springs, Julie Linderman, Jennifer Kirby, both of Bangor, Stephen (Nadia) Linderman, of West Olive, and Sarah Reed, of Palmetto, Florida; two step-children, Greg Adams, of Vandercook Lake, and Kim (Jim) Lammon, of Jackson; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; all of whom brought much joy to Donna's life. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2023, with eulogy at 3:30 p.m., at the Courtland Township Hall, 7450 14 Mile Road N.E. (M-57), Rockford. There will be a potluck with Donna's favorite main courses provided; feel free to bring a salad, side, or dessert.
