Donald E. Owen, age 87, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Battle Creek Medical Center, surrounded by family. The son of James & Loretta (Dean) Owen, he was born on September 11, 1929 in Benton Harbor. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta. 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
