It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Lee Musser, on August 9, 2024. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on June 16, 1987. Donald was a charismatic soul, known for his compassionate nature, sharp wit, and a funny demeanor that could light up any room. A lover of the great outdoors, he enjoyed boxing, riding dirt bikes, playing card games, and delving into the world of video games. Throughout his life, he resided in Belding, Michigan. His heart was always set on bettering himself, finding a purpose, and most importantly, wanting to be there for his children and his family. His love for his family was immeasurable. Despite the many struggles that he faced throughout his life, Donald's loving and resilient spirit remained unwavering. As the great poet Maya Angelou once wrote, "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it." This sentiment seemed to echo in Donald's life. His unique imprint will forever remain in the hearts of his family, including his mother, Betty Musser; his siblings, Matthew (Stephanie) Musser, Corrine (Duey) Flinn, Marcie Musser, Dennis Curler, William Mason, and Todd Anderson; his children, Donavan Musser, Eli Thomas, Arletta Radhs, and Skylynn Litchfield. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnathan Sower, grandparents, Howard and Ethel Musser, and Ellsworth "Pat" and Marguerite Sower; his aunt, Darlene Musser, and his beloved daughter, Angelia Musser.
A celebration of Donald's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. at the Greenville Community Center (900 E. Kent Road, Greenville).
