Donald Houck

Donald Richard "Don" Houck, Sr. age 79, of Turk Lake, Greenville, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at The Laurels of Carson City. The son of George & Mary (Rentsman) Houck he was born on September 10, 1934 in Grand Rapids. A proud veteran of the Korean War, Don served in the U.S. Army. For many years he worked as a mechanic at the former Ballard and King Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Greenville. A man of many talents, he will be remembered for his ability to fix just about anything. Surviving are his three sons, Donald R. & Cindy Houck, Jr. of Wyoming, Tracy Houck of Turk Lake, and Dennis Houck of Turk Lake; a sister, Helen Rouch of Turk Lake; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Honoring Don's wishes, private family services will be held. Instead of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
