Mr. Donald A. Frazee, age 90, of Greenville, formerly of rural Sidney, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, April 3, 2007 from Our Place Cares A.F.C. Home in Greenville. The son of Clifford D. & Rosa Ellen (Dewey) Frazee, he was born on Aug. 29, 1916 in Grand Ledge. A veteran of World War II, he served as a Technical Sgt. with the U.S. Army. In addition to farming, Don had worked for 38 years at Federal Mogul Corp. in Greenville, retiring as a group leader. He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Greenville, and an associate member of First Baptist Church in Palmetto, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; two sisters; two wives, Vivian L. (Williams) Frazee on Oct. 9, 1970, and Marjorie I. (McBride-Wilson) Frazee on April 30, 2002; a son-in-law, Jack Guelzo; and two step-children, Jacalyn Kay Colosky and Robert Wilson.
Surviving are his two children, Caroline & Jerry Paulsen of Six Lakes, and David & Agnes Frazee of Pickerington, Ohio; a brother, Wayne & Winifred Frazee of Grand Rapids; a step-daughter, Merrellyn & Dennis Clapp of Lansing; a step-daughter-in-law, Carolyn Wilson of Howard City; five grandchildren, Bryan & Denise Guelzo, Don & Heather Guelzo, Jacqi Barnes, Michele & Jason Byrd, and Michael Frazee; five great grandchildren, Ryan Guelzo, Andrew Guelzo, Kinson Cichon, Kiley Guelzo, and Courtney Guelzo. Also surviving are several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
