Donald Dunn

Donald Armond Dunn, age 79, of Lowell, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at home on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born May 3, 1944, in Marshall, Michigan, to the late Allison and Phyllis (Mulvaney) Dunn. Don graduated from Pennfield High School with the class of 1963. After graduation he proudly served his country for three years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Don married the love of his life, Margie Lee Stewart on September 2, 1967, in Battle Creek, MI. Together they raised their three sons and celebrated 48 years of marriage before Margie passed away on July 29, 2016. Don worked 45 years as a C.N.C. Machinist with Borg Warner Corporation until his retirement in 2006. Don loved traveling with Margie around Michigan and its neighboring states to view all the natural wonders they had to offer. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and vintage muscle cars. Survivors include his three sons, Douglas, David, and Dennis Dunn; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Dunn. Per Don’s wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery where he will be buried.
