Donald Allen Dunlop, II

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald Allen “Donnie” Dunlop II, of Tustin, Michigan at the age 78. Surrounded by his family, he passed peacefully from a brief battle with lung cancer.

He was born December 5, 1947 in Saginaw Michigan to the late Lois Louise Packer and Donald Allen Dunlop.

Donald built a life centered on service, hard work and a deep love for his family. He worked forty-six and a half years for AAR Mobility in Cadillac Michigan and was known as a great hi-lo driver. He could build or repair anything. He enjoyed building keepsake furniture and toys for his grandchildren that will be cherished forever. With his incredible sense of humor he could always laugh at himself making for a fun time.

Donald is survived by his wife Christie (Bell) of fifty-seven years; daughter Carrie (Philip) Keith; son, Donald Allen Dunlop III; nephew, Keith (Linda) Sawade; grandchildren, Morgan (Nicholas) Monroe, Lauren (Mitchell) Crimp, Aubrey (Erick) Carrillo, Remington Sawade, Brandon Sawade, Kacie Keith; great-grandchildren, Evelynne, Isabella, Erik, Clyde and Olive.

Donald was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda (Hurcus) Mann and Susan (George) McNeal.

His memory will live on in the work ethic he taught and the generosity he gave so freely.

A celebration of life luncheon will be held for family and friends from 12-4 p..m. on Saturday September 5,2026 at the Rose Lake Township Hall, 15953 16 Mile Road, LeRoy, Michigan.
