Donald Baker

Donald Daniel "Dan" Baker, age 56, of Alma, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at home under the loving care of his family and Residential Hospice. The son of Jacqueline Sue (Hicks) & Jerry Dan Baker, he was born on December 4, 1962 in Alma. Dan graduated from Alma High School (where he was often known as 'Bones' Baker) and attended Lansing Community College, earning a certificate in auto mechanics. He was employed by Electrolux Home Products in Greenville and later worked for ten years at Pennzoil in Alma. Dan enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and other family members. Music was important in his life, both listening to it and playing his guitar. His life included many outdoor activities, especially during time spent at the family cabin in Grayling... He enjoyed canoeing the Manistee River with his Dad and other family members, snowmobiling, and riding his dirt bike. Surviving are his parents, Jackie & Phil Warsop and Jerry & Suzanne Baker; two daughters, Elizabeth Baker and Danielle Reed; two sisters, Laurie & Ken Dishaw and Marsha Williams Raymor; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
