Dolores Zank-Watson, 71, of Greenville, passed away early Friday morning, June 16, 2006 at her home under the loving care of her family. The daughter of Clayton William & Lillian (Wood) Zank, she was born on July 5, 1934 in Muskegon. Following her graduation from St. Louis High School, she married Charles Watson, a certified public accountant from Detroit, on June 11, 1952. A devoted mother and grandmother, Dolores also enjoyed golfing, bowling, pitching horseshoes, and playing euchre. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101 in Greenville, the National Rifle Association, as well as a member of the Republican party. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles, in 1989; and her grandparents, John & Mary Zank. Surviving are her two children, Klay Watson of Alma, and Kendra & Mark Sherd of Fenwick; a sister, Connie & Alan OByrne of Leslie; a brother, Roger & Harriet Zank of Saginaw; four grandchildren, Kasey Watson, Darcey Watson, Andrea Sherd, and Keith & Kim Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Visitation with the family is on Monday, June 19, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville. Contributions in memory of Dolores may be given to your favorite charity. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. As Dolores wished, cremation has already taken place and no formal services will be held.
