Dolores Bour

Dolores Bour (Sobczak), age 89, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. She was born on March 9, 1932, in Ann Arbor to Stanley and Kathryn (Banka) Sobczak. Dolores was a hard worker that would do anything for her family. Though she worked hard to support her family, she always made time for her kids. Dolores was a good ear to lend and always a problem solver. She was always kind and gentle when helping others. In her spare time, Dolores enjoyed crossword puzzles, golfing and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her and the lives that she touched. A private family funeral burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery on March 24, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date in honor of Dolores. Survivors include her five children; Sharon (Rich) Oom and their sons, Scott and Michael; Jerry Bour and his daughter, Kristen (Carl) Kukawski and their son, Miles; Darrell Bour and his two children, Steve Bour and Stacy (Tim) Molis and her two children, Layla and Taylon; Robert Bour and his two children, Brittani Bour and Austin Bour and his son, Lincoln; and Jeff (Marcia) Bour and their daughters, Aubrey and Sarah Bour. Dolores has two surviving siblings, Edward (Bobbie) Sobczak and Nancy (Steve) Solomon and a sister-in-law, Jill Sobczak. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alice Kelly and Rose Farkas; and brother, Tom Sobczak.
