Diane Stengel

Diane Elizabeth Stengel, 63, passed away Tuesday night, October 16, 2018 at her mother's home under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice, with her family at her side. The daughter of Charles Dalton & Janet Dalton Wood, and beloved step daughter of Edward Wood, Diane was born August 31, 1955 in Jackson. Diane was a loving mother and friend. She will be remembered fondly for her passion for cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and step-father, Edward. Diane is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Stengel, and Sarah Stengel; mother, Janet; sisters, Susanne Dalton-Nummerdor, Mary Dalton, and Jane Loftis; her brothers-in-law, Kevin Loftis, and Kurt Nummerdor; nephews, Kevin Loftis, and Jacob Loftis, along with many other loving family and friends. Diane's family will be having a private celebration of her life in Ludington, where she spent many wonderful years during her childhood.
