Diana Lou Scott, age 77, of Greenville, passed away Friday evening, March 25, 2022 at Mission Point of Belding. The daughter of John & Georgia (Nadolskey) Vinkle, she was born on October 29, 1944 in Petoskey, Michigan.
On January 11, 1963, in Battle Creek, she married James Richard Scott and together raised three children and enjoyed 58 years of marriage until James passed away just one year ago on Friday, March 26, 2021.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Diana also enjoyed traveling with her husband Jim, loved crocheting and making blankets for family and friends. She had a witty sense of humor, had a talent for sales, also was a member of the East Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Georgia Vinkle; her husband, Jim Scott; and three siblings, Gloria Tramel, Everett Vinkle, and Mary Behan.
Surviving are her children, Renee & Don Lown, Jimmy & Tarra Scott, and Chris & Amanda Scott; grandchildren, Korynn & Paul Olsen, Shawna Lown-Enbody, Kurtis Lown, Ashtin & Joe Cope, Grant & Danielle Scott; great-grandchildren, Charly Burns, Adison Olsen, Tori Burns, Peyton Burns, Clif Olsen, Makenzie Enbody, Alexis Enbody, Janie Enbody, Winifred Cope, and Ruby Cope; two brothers; John & Linda Vinkle and Larry & Lydia Vinkle; two brothers-in-law, David & Lois Scott, and Dale Scott.
She will be greatly missed. The family will be holding a private memorial service in her honor.
