Dewayne Maurice Smith, age 49, of Grand Rapids, Michigan . On March 30, 2023 he was struck in a tragic accident . He was born in Gary, Indiana to Margie Smith. Survivors include his daughters; Maricea Smith (28),Pleasant Smith (7 ); his sons Dewayne Smith JR (22 ), Daveon Smith(5), Julio Smith(1); his siblings Penny Henderson (Daniel), Lamont (Tina) Smith, Eddie (Michelle), Ronnie, Patricia, Felicia, Leroy Jr, Laverne, Phillip, Anthony, Alfonso, and Priscilla Smith; and many nieces nephews and other relatives and family. Dewayne was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Smith; his daughter Janae Smith, Ashley Mitchell and Phyllis. Dewayne loved his kids first off all the kids, he loved dogs, BIKES, cars, traveling, WELDING, and spending time with family and friends.
