March 9, 2010 - May 6, 2014 Devin Lee Leonard, age 4, of Trufant, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Spectrum Health-Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids. The son of Valerie M. (Taylor) & Kevin Scott Leonard, he was born on March 9, 2010 in Grand Rapids. Devin was happiest when he could enjoy the outdoors and delighted in time spent swimming, pontoon rides on the lake, and playing outside. He loved to walk in his walker and play with his toys... especially his drum set and bouncy balls. Surviving are his parents, Kevin & Valerie Leonard of Trufant; four brothers, Nolan Taylor, Aidan Taylor, Joseph Natzel, and Hunter Leonard, all at home; his grandparents, Dave & Janet Leonard of Trufant, and Kevin & Diana Taylor of Clio; two great grandmothers, Geneva Leonard of Eagle, and Helen Taylor of Clio; aunts and uncles, Sarah & Denny Beckley of Flint, Brenda & Geoff Seaman of Williamston, Missy & Jarrod Kebler of Eagle, and Sheila & Tim Holcomb of Tennessee; and many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Memorial services are at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Lakeview Baptist Church, 9580 Howard City-Edmore Road (Highway M-46), Lakeview, with the Rev. Dr. Zane Abberger officiating. Envelopes for memorial contributions to assist the family will be available at the church.
