Dennis L. Twichell (also known as "Twich"), age 85, of Cedar Springs, Michigan, passed away Tuesday evening, June 16, 2026 at his home under the loving care of his family and Corewell Health Hospice. He was born on May 15, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a son of the late Charles Lorenzo and Dorothy Mae Twichell.

For nearly 50 years, Dennis worked in the autobody trade, retiring from Bassett’s Body Shop. Even outside of work, Dennis liked to restore and rebuild automobiles, especially Chevrolet Corvettes. He enjoyed gardening and going to the casino.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles.

He is survived by his life partner and companion of more than 30 years, Ninna Graub of Cedar Springs; his daughter, Nikki Twichell of Sand Lake (Bob Cook); step-daughter, Tina Poling of Sparta; step-daughter, Sara Stiles (Louis) of Belmont; grandchildren Rachel (Bianca) Roedding; Kylie Poling (Trent Heinzelman); Savannah Poling; and Izzy Cook; great-grandson, Finnick; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

A celebration of Dennis’ life is being planned and will be announced at a later time.
