Dennis C. Slater, Sr.

Dennis C. Slater, Sr., age 71, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home. The son of Stephan L. & Fern C. (Hill) Slater, he was born on June 17, 1953 in Pontiac. On January 12, 1994, in Greenville, he married Rubi Lacsamana Macato and together they shared thirty years of marriage. Dennis loved all animals and would do anything to help injured or abandoned creatures, and was especially fond of Harley and Angel, his and Rubi's black labs. He enjoyed his playing Play Station and watching his Michigan State Spartans. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen & Fern Slater. Surviving are his wife, Rubi Slater of Greenville; their children, Dennis Carson Slater, Jr., Sarah & Jason Attard, Spencer Storie, and Benjamin S. Slater. Private family services will be held.
