Dennis Platz

Dennis Lyn Platz, 62, of Wyoming, passed away Sunday December 24, 2023. Dennis was born December 12, 1961 to Edward, Joann Platz, He was raised in Byron Center. He worked for Pries Supply Co. for about thirty years. Dennis enjoyed watching football, especially Michigan Wolverines! Also loved playing pool at Charlie’s Pub & Sands! He made friends every where he went, always had big smile, & joke or two to tell! He can be describe as gentle giant! Preceded in death by his beloved wife Sharlet Ann Platz, parents Edward, Joann Platz, brother Daryl Platz, & step daughter Nona Thomas. Survived by brothers Dale Platz (Kim Platz), Danny Platz (Theresa Platz), David Platz (Kimber Platz), step children John Thomas (Kristine Thomas), Bonnie Garvin-Jones (Todd Jones), Michael Garvin (Jolene), several grand children, nieces, nephews. cousins, Aunts, Uncles, & a lot of in-laws. Celebration of Life, Sunday January 28, 2024, 3pm-6pm at Wyoming Moose Lodge 2630 Burlingame Ave SW 49509 for family & friends.
