Dennis Carroll

Dennis Nelson Carroll passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2020 in Paris, Michigan. He was delivered by a midwife in the home on November 29, 1959 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to Ralph and Joan Carroll. Dennis, also known as Butch, spent most of his life in Muskegon around friends and family. But like a cowboy, he liked to roam around and lived in many states throughout his life including Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky. He also had many loves including his recent horse Bonnie. For many years, Cyndi St John was the one he enjoyed spending his best days with when he was a Stage Coach Driver in Tombstone, Arizona. Most knew him as someone who would always lend a helping hand and was mechanically inclined. He could also be remembered for his sense of humor and a great mustache. Dennis was preceded in death with his mother and father. Surviving are his children, Misti (Jeremy) Platt, Joni (Tony) Kiel, Jesse (Chelsea) Auten, and Justin (Ashley) Carroll; his siblings, Ralph Carroll, Scott Carroll, Cindy (Jon) Cox, and Lorie Carroll; and a close sister-in-law ,Sue Carroll. He also had many grandchildren and nieces and nephews that he held near and dear to his heart.
