Dennis Blakeman

Dennis Craig Blakeman, age 71, of Coldwater, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Everett and Dell A. Blakeman. He is survived by three daughters, Denise (Robert) Barkley of Lake City, MI, Rebecca (Kevin) Lynch of Manton, MI, and Katherine Blakeman of Mancelona, MI; one brother, Douglas (Linda) Blakeman of Leo, IN; one sister, Linda Kirkpatrick of New Bern, NC; one step-sister, Jackie (Jim) Henson of Hillsdale, MI; two step-brothers, Richard (Jane) Aube and Robert (Kay) Aube, both of Hillsdale, MI; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Dennis proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star. Burial with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI 49012.
