Debra Hooks

Debra Annette Hooks, age 55, of rural Stanton, passed away early Monday morning, January 4, 2016 at home under the loving care of her family. The daughter of Charles Laverne and Nalmajean Mae (Houseman) Wells, she was born on August 26, 1960 in Kalamazoo. On December 16, 1995, in Stanton, she married John Leonard Hooks. Surviving are her husband, John; three children, Amy Jones of Florida, Amanda & Alex Bowen and Wyatt Mcleod all of Michigan; a sister, Sue & Daniel Manning of Alabama; a brother, Charles & Sandy Wells of Mississippi; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Honoring Debras' wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
