David L. Montgomery

David L. Montgomery Sr., age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. He was born on January 26, 1938, in Arkansas. He enjoyed running the sound board and the cameras at church, traveling yearly to Hollywood and Las Vegas. He was a member of Living Word Christian Center. Survivors include his son, David Montgomery Jr.; daughter, Rose Mary Figures; grandchildren, Cassandra & Teresa Montgomery; great-grandson, Maurice Overby II; siblings, Daisy Brown and Nailah Matthews; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, May Bell Michael and his father. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Living Word Christian Center, 165 54th Street S.W., Wyoming, with Pastors Dan & Jo Oglesby officiating.
