David Jaksa

David L. Jaksa, age 64, of Mesick, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. The son of Steven & Rose (Pierce) Jaksa, he was born on January 10, 1951 in Saginaw. David retired after many years of working in an auto body repair shop. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Steven F. Jaksa and James H. Jaksa. Surviving are his children, Katrina (Mike) Stevens of St. Charles, David (Missy) Jaksa of Saginaw, and Laura (Kyle) Basner of Davison; eleven grandchildren; along with two brothers, Daniel (Sue) of Auburn, and William (Janice) of Saginaw. Memorial services for David will be held at a later date. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
