Darlene Munyon

Darlene Munyon, 59, of Battle Creek, passed away on March 8, 2020 from heart disease at Care Community under the loving care of her family, Care Community staff and Kindred Hospice. The daughter of Lyle Thomas & Mary Eloise (Hart) Munyon, she was born on April 2, 1960 in Battle Creek. She loved dogs, playing cards, bingo, making floral arrangements, planning activities for the elderly, and was one of the most creative people we knew. In her younger years she had a love for bowling. She will be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews as the fun loving Aunt who was always around to help care for them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle & Mary Munyon; and nephew, Tyler McCarty. Surviving are her siblings Robert & Beverly Hendershot, Charles & Sheri McCarty, Marlene & Jim Francis, Alan & Marsha McCarty, Roger & Debbie Munyon, and Mark & Mary Munyon; several nieces and nephews; and her second family of staff and residents at Care Community.
