Danny Shepard

Danny P. Shepard, age 64, of Charlotte, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at his home. The son of Howard & Beulah (Dowell) Shepard, he was born on November 4, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Danny dedicated himself to his two daughters and he enjoyed fixing and racing his race cars. He also was a veteran of the United States Air Force, Danny served honorably during the Cold War era and attained the fourth enlisted rank of Senior Airman. He was a recipient of the Air Force training ribbon, Air Force good conduct medal, and Air Force longevity service award ribbon. In 2005, he retired from being a corrections officer for the Michigan Department of Corrections. Surviving are his children, Ashley Shepard & Dana Shepard, both of Albion. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held.
