Daniel Romero

Daniel Rodriguez Romero, age 73, of Grand Rapids, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The son of Pedro Rodriguez and Maria Romero, he was born on June 18, 1941 in Mexico. Survivors include his wife, Amada Rodriguez of Grand Rapids; six sons, Roberto, Daniel, Jorge, Fidel, Javier, and Miguel; and fifteen grandchildren, Rigoberto, Ana, Karina, Erica, Jeilin, Chely, Jesse, Mauricio, Xitlaly, Aleni, Daniel, Isabella, Javier, Christian, and Angel. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, April 20th at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Ave.), Grand Rapids, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21st. Committal service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming. In death, Daniel gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
