Daniel Henry

Daniel James Henry, 64, of Howard City, formerly of Cedar Springs, passed on late Friday evening, May 5, 2023 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Delbert Henry & Lillian (Shingola) Ramsey, he was born on May 19, 1958 in Grand Rapids. On December 17, 1986, in Grand Rapids, he married Laury S. McKerchie and together they enjoyed 37 years of marriage. Dan retired from Herman Miller and enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding the wildlife, watching sports and attending his grandkids sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Surviving are his wife, Laury Henry of Howard City; their children, Rob & Brenda McKerchie, Joe McKerchie, Amy & Rich Drilling, Jason & Amanda Jones, Amanda Henry, Edward Henry and his two dogs; Fire Bear and CiCi. Including several grandchildren and great grandchildren; Andrew, Matt, Krista, Jocelyn, Brandon, Tia, Sequoya, Richie, Caden, Carlee, Holden, Griffin, Kenzie, and Jordy. His siblings; Patrick, Mike, Kathy and many nieces and nephews. The family invites relatives and friends to celebrate Dan's life from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Pierson Village Hall, 190 Grand Street, Pierson.
