Dan Seelye

Dan Alan Seelye, age 74, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at home on Saturday, May 21, 2022. He was born June 28, 1947, in Grand Rapids, to the late Allen and Joyce (Mathews) Seelye. Dan proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked at Predgeon & Clay as a machine repairman for 35 years and he loved to go hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Suzanne "Sue"; 2 sons, Keith and Kevin; daughter, Kimberly (Will) Openshaw; step-son, Joseph Black; sister, Gail (Bill) Butrell; 3 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; and 1 great-granddaughter. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
