Dalena Parsons

Dalena Marie Parsons, age 72, of Lakeview, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2017 at home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of Francis F. & Leona E. (Bevier) Miller, she was born on September 12, 1945 in Grand Rapids. Dalena retired from Meijer, where she worked as a deli clerk, after 20 years of service. Survivors include her children, Tony & Chi Whaley of Greenville, Wendy Murray of Lakeview, and Terry Whaley of Alabama; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside committal services are at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Forest Home Cemetery, 402 E. Baldwin Lake Drive, Greenville, with the Rev. Phillip Mills, pastor of the Greenville Bible Methodist Church, officiating. Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to donations to help with Dalena's final expenses.
