Dale Lee Homrich, born on December 17, 1946, in Grand Rapids, MI, has left us on January 10, 2025. His journey in life was as unique as the man himself, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. Dale was a resident of Wayland, Michigan, a place he was proud to call home.
Dale was a man of many talents, but his most prominent was his ability to create. As an assembler in the furniture business, he spent many years at Hayworth, transforming raw materials into beautiful pieces of furniture. He was the kind of person who could find beauty in the most ordinary things. His creations were a testament to his artistic eye and meticulous nature. Dale was not just a craftsman; he was an artist who crafted with heart and soul. As Albert Einstein once noted, "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." Dale had an abundance of both, which he applied to his work and his life, making him a memorable figure in his field and his community.
Dale is survived by his children; Trevor Homrich, Adina Nozal, and Greg Homrich, and his brother, Steve Homrich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lula Homrich, his sister, Sharon, and his brother, Ron. While he will be missed dearly, his legacy will live on through his family and his creations. Those who knew Dale can attest to the truth of the quote, "Do not judge a man by his accomplishments, but by the lives he touched." Dale touched many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him.
We invite friends, colleagues, and loved ones to share their memories of Dale and upload photos to the memorial page. Each story and picture shared will serve as a testament to Dale Homrich's life, a life lived with passion, creativity, and love.
