Craig Strick

Remembering a Life Well Lived Craig Strick passed away in in his sleep on December 27th, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1950, in Allegan County, MI to Maxine Virginia Dennis and was named Arnold Adcock. He was then adopted by Nelson and Alice Strick and was given the name Craig Allen Strick. He grew up in Moline, MI and lived most of his adult life in the Kent County area. Craig loved working with his hands, fixing things with his tools and painting. He also loved his plants! In his later years he was often found outside helping his mother with their vegetable garden or making salsa and dragon dust with his hot peppers. He loved the beautiful sunsets across the field at his mother's home. These made him think about his loving God Jehovah and how much love he felt from him. He was regularly out in the community sharing truths about God's love and the hope that brought him comfort. A favorite scripture of his was Revelation 21:4. In his final days, we talked often about that hope and all the activities he looked forward to with a healthy body and the family and friends he looked forward to seeing in paradise. Craig dearly loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them at every opportunity. He loved showing pictures of his great-grandson Charlie and watching him grow. When his mother needed help, he moved in to care for her so she could stay in her home until she passed. His heart was big and it held and showed so much love. He ran the race to the finish and is safe in Jehovah's memory. Craig is preceded in death by his wife Karen Strick, mother Alice Strick and father Nelson Strick. Craig is survived by his son Jesse Strick (wife Caitlin), step-daughter Brenda Strick, grandsons Brandon Strick (wife Kaylene), Jarek DeGlopper, Steven DeGlopper, great-grandson Charlie Strick, great-grandson Gunner Graham, great-granddaughter Brielle Graham, great-grandson on the way Jacek DeGlopper, as well as many cousins and their families.
