Craig Durkee

Craig Stewart Durkee, age 62, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born April 10, 1959, in Manistee, to William K. Durkee and Mary E. (Anderson) Spillane. Craig is survived by his mother, Mary and step-father, Wayne; son, Bryce; one granddaughter, Isla; sisters, Julie (Bruce) Bell and Katherine (Jody) Ball; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William Kingston Durkee and sister, Laurie Kingston Tobias. Craig obtained his bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University in 1984. During his extensive career in retail sales and management, he focused on serving others. He loved the outdoors, especially biking, fishing and hiking in Michigan's upper peninsula.
