Cozette Davis

Cozette Ritta Davis (Banka), age 92, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1929 to Earl and Nellie Decker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne C Davis; children Lowell Craig Davis, Gregory Todd Davis, Victoria Leigh (Robert) Flickinger and son-in-law, Robert C Haight Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Jane Haight; grandsons Mitchell Haight and Robert C Haight III; sister, Nelly (Walter) Marsh of Pensacola, Florida; daughter-in-law Holly Jo Davis and her extended Haight family. Her 92 years spanned everything from singing with the big bands to raising a family and then watching her grandsons and so much more in between. She has many special friends who loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends and especially coffee. Rest in peace Banka. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will take place at a later date.
