Cora Banasiak

Cora Marie Banasiak, age 87, of Greenville, formerly of Grand Haven, passed away Friday evening, February 16, 2018 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of John & Mary (Madacsy) Gulyban, she was born on June 24, 1930 in Muskegon and retired from Harbor Industries where she worked as an assembly supervisor. She had been a member of the Pulaski and the Falcon lodges, both in Muskegon, attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grand Haven, and enjoyed square dancing, working in her yard, and strolls along the boardwalk in Grand Haven. She is survived by many people who loved and cared for her deeply. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where envelopes for memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice will be available. Honoring her wishes, no formal services will be held at burial will take place in the spring at Robinson Township Cemetery in Ottawa County.
