Claude Devormer

Claude A. "Gabby" DeVormer , age 86, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was born May 8, 1933, in Grand Rapids, to the late James and Tanetta (Schlientz) DeVormer. Claude proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his brother, Lloyd (Doris) DeVormer; sister, Evelyn Bruinekool; nephew, Terrence (Pat) Essex; cousin, Beverly Lilley; a couple of grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas; daughter, Tanetta; brothers, James Jr. and Larry; sister, Geraldine; and brother-in-law, Elliot Bruinekool. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 no public services are being held at this time and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
