Clarence Beemer

July 29, 1938 — December 23, 2010

Clarence Bug Beemer, age 72, of Greenville, formerly of Lincoln Lake, passed away Thursday morning, December 23, 2010 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The son of Roy & Ethel (Sharp) Beemer, he was born on July 29, 1938. On December 8, 1963, in Six Lakes, he married the former Betty Badge, who prececeded him in death on March 17, 1997. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Borstler in February of this year (2010); two sisters, Alma Russel, and Marge Huston; five brothers, Norm, Ernie, Jack, L.T., and Garold Dale Beemer. Surviving are his children, Pete (Nancy) Borstler of Cedar Springs, Suke (Bruce) Beck of Gowen, Cindy (Dennis) Borstler of Alambama, Tammy (Ernie) Jensen of Gowen, and Tom (Brenda) Bemmer of Coral; his "better half", Kathy Robinson of Greenville; seventeen grandchildren; and fifty great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Jake & Barb Beemer of Sand Lake, Harold & Lynn Beemer of Grant, and Will & Deb Beemer of Sparta; three sisters, Goldie Merrick of Stanwood, Helen & John Main of Lakeview, and Sherry & Chester Rish of Cedar Springs; and many, many nieces and nephews. The family invites relatives and friends to celebrate Clarence's life beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Greenville American Legion Post 101.
