Clarabelle Sawdy

Clarabelle P. "Phyllis" Sawdy, age 89, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at The Laurels of Carson City. The daughter of Raymond J. & Eithel Bell (Baldwin) Sly, she was born on October 3, 1928 in Sidney and retired from the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville. Surviving are her children, Jeannine Cooper, Geaneva Maxon, Dianne Haguelet, Irving Stander, John Stander, and Steve Stander; two brothers, Raymond & Shirley Sly, and Robert & Betty Sly; four sisters, Betty Sias, Freda & Gary VanBuskirk, Sharon Collins, and Charlene Cazier; many grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation is on Friday from 5-6 p.m. at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pastor Susan O'Bryan of the Edmore Full Gospel Church will officiate and burial will take place privately at Evergreen Township Cemetery near Sheridan.
