Charlesetta White

Charlesetta Marie White, age 80, of Pontiac, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. The daughter of Charles & Dernita (Glenn) Blakemore, she was born on December 16, 1931 in Mounds, Illinois. She spent many years as an elementary school teacher's aide. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Tommie White, in January of 2009. Survivors include her son, Steven White of Ocala, Florida. Visitation will be Tuesday January 31,2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe Avenue N.E., where funeral services will held at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Greenville, honored providers of Veterans Funeral Care.
