Charles Maurer

Charles Benes Maurer, age 88, of Douglas, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was born January 17, 1933, in Oak Park, Illinois, to the late Charles and Blanche (Benes) Maurer. Charles proudly served his county in the United States Navy. He obtained his PhD and was the Director of Libraries at Denison University for many years. Charles is survived by his son, James Maurer and his family. Per Charles wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time.
