Charles Ronald Kinsley passed away February 23rd in the comfort of his home. He was surrounded by family as he joined his late mother Donnabell, father Irwin and sister Melody.
Early in his life he gave his service to the Navy. He then attended Michigan State University and received his degree in journalism. He became an accomplished professional for the Associated Press. He taught journalism at Central Michigan University, and was an editor for Wayne State Community college. He took pride in his work.
He loved his home in Canadian Lakes Michigan where he has been a member of the community for over 25 years. he cherished, and was loved by, his family. His marriage to Cydney included step-children, Beth Zadorecky and David Anselm; his daughter Mia; grandchildren, Elliot and Olive Vickers. Also surviving are his siblings, Jen Schwab, Bryan Kinsley, Ed Kinsley, Jane Shor, and their respective partners.
Chuck had a passion for words. He enjoyed reading, writing, editing, and using them for conversations. Integrity was the center of what he built his profession on, and the contributions he left us reflect his character. He truly will be missed by those who knew him.
