Charles Edward Evans Jr.

Charles Evans, age 65, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by dedication, service and quiet strength.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that reflected his deep sense of duty and commitment.  Following his military service, he carried those values into his everyday life, earning the respect of those who knew him.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Gale Evans, with whom he shared a life built on partnership, loyalty, and enduring care.

Charles will be remembered for his steady presence, his resilience, and the way he showed up for the people and responsibilities that mattered most.  His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the example he set.

He will be deeply missed.
